Hotel commercial websites
I feel lucky to have had the chance to work with three historic estates in Northern France, members of Audacieux du Patrimoine, to rethink their digital storefronts. Together, we designed and developed a website that would reflect the image of their home, and whose SEO would increase their direct revenue potential, passing as little as possible through OTAs such as Booking and Airbnb.

REMOTE PROCESS
Everything was done remotely between my teammates, the other stakeholders (company owner & interviewees) and I. We used almost constant zoom sessions everyday between us, and we used other tools in order to be the most efficient possible during the project: Trello for project management, Google Suite for research, Useberry for testing and Whimsical and Figma for prototyping our solution.
For this project, we used the design thinking methodology.
OVERVIEW
The Manoir de l’Aumônerie is an historical monument. 800 years of history in its stones. They have started a huge restoration of the place in 2018. It is a private house but opened to visitors. They have four main activities: rental of cottages, private or professional events (parties/seminars), public events (craft market, medieval week-end, Christmas concerts…) and tourist visits.
The challenge is to re-design a new version of Manoir de L’Aumônerie’s commercial website (especially english version) more fluid and easy to use. They would like to have a very clear interface for their web visitors that could be interested by their activities to participate to the restoration of the place.

OVERVIEW
The Manoir du Stang is part of the Audacieux du Patrimoine Association. It is a family-owned property that had an old website that was not visually and functionally viable. The owner wanted a digital showcase that would reflect the beauty and atmosphere of the Manoir and that would encourage visitors to book a room or an activity straight for their platform.

OVERVIEW
The Domaine de la Motte-Basse is also a family owned business that had previously made a website with their channel manager provider, the website was very unfriendly and did not reflect the beauty of the physical estate. The Domaine is also a farm where the owner bee-keeps as well. It was important for the owner to do a makeover digitally to help the visitors visualize the experience of coming to the Domaine. His main priority was to feel more independent from Airbnb and Booking.
